International Mobility

Several visits abroad and mobility have never been more important for an academic career. That does not only include international networking but also doing research in other countries. For Postdocs the “Travelling Allowance” provides financial support up to two years after the doctorate.

For every other postdoc group and international research, purposes there are different scholarships. You can receive information at the Research and Innovation Services, the International Office and the Graduate Academy. Moreover, information sessions such as the lunch talk series “Science as a Vocation” and the career day “Postdoc Perspectives – Qualification and Careers in Academia” inform about visits abroad in post-doc-times on a regular basis.
