At Leibniz Universität Hannover, the start-up service ‘starting business’ is the central contact point for all those interested in starting their own business. Anyone who is interested in founding a business, who wants to further develop their own entrepreneurial ideas, or plans to join an existing start-up team, will receive free professional advice here.
In addition, the start-up service offers a variety of annual events on the topic of starting a business and entrepreneurial thinking. From the start-up slam, to the search for co-founders, to the preparation of a business plan, ‘starting business’ supports all members and alumni of Leibniz University interested in founding a business with targeted events.

Nationwide services and initiatives on the subject of entrepreneurship
Great offers to make potential ideas more tangible are available through the ‘Young Entrepreneurs in Science’ workshop and webinar program for Ph.D.s & postdocs.
The initiative of the Federal Chancellery "Makers of Tomorrow", which is supported by the Digital Council of the Federal Government, the German Rectors' Conference as well as the federal association ‘Deutsche Startups e. V.’, offers a lecture series as well as an online course for students or doctoral candidates at German-speaking universities on the topic of entrepreneurship. The online course requires registration.
The publicly funded and therefore free-to-use ‘Gründerplattform’ is an interactive platform that accompanies and supports the entire start-up process during the phases of entering, planning, financing and founding. Furthermore, you can receive free individual advice there.
